Description

Blend: 64% Merlot; 26% Cabernet Sauvignon; 7% Cabernet Franc; 3% Petit Verdot.

This wine is extremely classy, full of graphite notes. The vineyards are in the northern Médoc, on a gravel hill near the Gironde. There are new parcels of old-vine Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc included for the first time. The team used a shorter maceration and a cooler fermentation, giving the wine a surprising finesse. The alcohol is refreshingly low at 12.8%. The sense of quality is exceptional at this level.
