Description

Blend: 56% Cabernet Sauvignon; 35% Merlot; 9% Cabernet Franc.

In both colour and construction, this comes across as a very serious wine. It is inky dark, yet there is a core of red-fruited, sensuous Merlot character. The sterner dark fruit and bitter chocolate notes of the Cabernet Sauvignon then take control, and in a higher proportion than 2022. The is the first vintage from the estate’s new winery; it shows in the wine’s greater detail. Floral perfumes and saline textures are present, but currently muted. The wine’s promise is evident.
