Description

This is from a single vineyard at 616 metres above sea level on the Yerga mountain in the Rioja Oriental, planted mostly with Grenache. Lovely depth on the nose, but a little closed at this early stage of its development. Rich, full, mouth-filling red fruit on the palate, fine and elegant as its high-altitude, limestone soil dictates. Delightful balance with zippy acidity and fine , grippy tannins. This lovely wine has a long life ahead of it.
