2022 Fixin, La Croix Blanche, Château de Charodon, Burgundy

This is a farming contract for Louis, so he runs the vineyard to organic methods. The vines are between 40 and 60 years old and Louis vinified 20% of the fruit as whole bunches. This is floral and spicy, with creamy, sweet berry fruit on the palate. There is a violet perfume here and a real salinity at the end. Drink 2027-2034.
