Description

This is from old vines planted in 1955 on limestone soils with a south-facing, gentle slope. This vineyard used to be a quarry, but now produces deliciously mineral Meursault. Packed full of citrus and golden fruit, it shows great drive and verve. Balanced and deft, everything seems to be in place here. There is a certain weightlessness, while the finish is astoundingly long. Drink 2027-2039.
