Description

This is the only north-facing Premier Cru in Chablis. It’s cooler but sees the sun all day; there are rarely problems with achieving ripeness. Here, 60-year-old vines are planted on white clay soil. The nose is generous and giving, with some spicy reduction and ripe apple fruit. Sébastien describes this as “gourmand”. Indeed, there is a real drinkability here, with a crisp finish.
