Description
The clos is in a sector near the church in Vergisson and is notoriously hard to work. Olivier calls it a cold soil, comprised of a thin 20cm of clay and rock topsoil before lumps of limestone. This is a more brooding and broader shouldered wine than its cellar siblings. The bouquet is closed and the palate broad and imposing.
