Description

This is from the lieux-dits Grands Clos and Clos Chareau. Both offer either a limestone or clay-dominant soil composition. On the nose are intense aromas of ripe red cherry and berry fruit. The palate is zippy and playful, with a delightful crunchiness to the red fruit. There is a lovely, saline finish. Red Chassagne-Montrachet is a rarer breed than white, and this is quite simply superb. Drink 2027-2042.
