Description

Soil here is eroded blue-and-pink granite washed from the slopes, and yellow granite from neighbouring Fleurie. The 1.5 hectares of vines were planted in 1938, ’52 and ’65. Thibault compares this to Chambolle-Musigny. It is easy to see why; the nose is beautifully perfumed with blue fruit and floral touches, while the silky palate has soft tannins and a fine acid spine.
