Description

This interesting, rather remote 1.1-hectare vineyard in Arcenant sits on white marl and limestone. It is high (400 metres) and has a 40% slope, always achieving a good level of maturity. The nose is spicy, while the palate offers rich strawberry fruit on the attack, accompanied by intense limestone freshness in the background. It is fresh with broad shoulders and melting tannins.

50% whole bunch vinification, whereas the other Hautes Côtes de Nuits cuvées have none. Picked in the middle of the harvest and already very ripe, at 13.8%. The densest colour of the three with an expansive ripe raspberry nose.
