Description

This is an important cuvée for the domaine. A four-way equal split of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan grown, as its name reveals, on clay soils. Grenache is vinified in cement and aged in foudres while the rest is fermented in foudres and aged in barriques. Thus a serious, modern Côtes du Rhône with depth, spice and expression – well capable of ageing.
