Description

From one-third of a hectare from the Mazoyères section of Charmes-Chambertin, the heart of the wine comes from old vines, the most ancient planted in 1902. Unusually, everything is destemmed; in the past it has been 100% whole-bunch, but volumes were too big this year. The wine is tighter and harder to read than usual, but remarkably serious for a Charmes. Drink 2030-2045.
