Rugiens is one of the best vineyards in Pommard and Francois is lucky to have a plot with 100-year-old vines. It is no surprise then that this is an intense wine. Initially full of red and dark fruit, there is also a slightly savoury edge. It also has an incredible length that seems endless. Drink 2030-2045.

Mid purple, a delicious nose, fine depth, all in red fruit while also showing the oak at the moment.
