Description

The Clos des Arvelets is situated in the middle of the Arvelets vineyard. There is only one (new) barrel this year, rather than the usual 2 to 4. The oak is a little prominent on the nose at the moment but is more harmoniously integrated on the palate, where it marries well with the juicy, delictae red fruit and subtle floral touches. There is a wonderful acidity here too, combined with elegant tannins and a lick of oak spice at the finish.
