Description

Cuvée Bertin is named after Virgile’s son. It’s a blend of the lower vineyards of Creux Brouillard and Les Murots with Les Seuvrées, which is on the border with Morey-St Denis. Again this year Virgile has gone for 100% whole bunch. This has given the palate a very good, broad texture that fills the palate well. A smart wine from less blessed vines.

100% whole bunch vinification. Not so dark a purple, with a lively but soft fruit, more red than black, some strawberry, a little bit of black pepper, with a pleasing generous fruit at the back, with just a tannin or two.
