Description

François’s 0.7 hectares here are brilliantly situated, under Clos d’Audignac and beside De Montille’s. The lees were a little evident at the start, but once clear, this is heady with violet and blueberry. The palate has a fine ferric grip alongside the freshness of the vintage.

A little more depth of colour at the centre of a fresh ruby purple. The nose gives a suggestion that there will be an additional depth of fruit here, fine cherry and raspberry fruit, very promising.
