Description

Being his own fiercest critic, Jean-Philippe has the sense that the frost weakened the plant material and that the fruit was compromised a little. Nevertheless he is happy that the wine is as good as it can be under the circumstances. From an objective perspective, that is still very good indeed. Situated on the extension of the slope with the Premiers Crus, but with a more easterly orientation, the vineyard offers a very mineral expression of Meursault but also finds room for a hint of something more succulent or exotic.
