Description

This wine is my personal pick from this exceptionally successful cellar in 2021. The colour is glowing with energy, a fine youthful ruby and purple. The nose is open and perfumed with real elegance and sophistication, and still soemthing in reserve. The palate has wonderfully intense fruit and a touch of blood orange, all wrapped up in a delightful coating of velvet tannins before the mouth-watering limestone finish.

A robust crimson purple. The bouquet is relatively inexpressive but indicates significant intensity. No immediate signal of the stems. Even on the palate the weight of the vineyard takes the lead, a full mouthful of deep raspberry fruit, just enlivened a touch at the finish. All about the wine not the vinification.
