Droin’s Les Clos carries a special name this year, honouring Louis Droin, who in 1920 became owner of a Grand Cru vineyard between Les Clos and Valmur. This vintage is the anniversary of the acquisition of this parcel, hence the special label. As ever, it’s outstanding. Intensely mineral and with brooding power, it has laser-like focus and precision. Drink 2030-2045.
