Description

The Merlins have a 0.95-hectare parcel at almost 300 metres’ altitude. This is from vines at the top, giving the most intense, spicy expression. It’s serious and brooding, slowly unfurling in the glass to reveal rich, unctuous berry fruit, white pepper and floral touches. The structure is firm; the tannins are refined, providing the foundation for ageing.
