Description

This is a lieu-dit within Morgeot, from the Les Chaumes subdivision (which can bear the name Boudriotte). The soil here is deep, humid and cold – a boon in recent years. This is rich and rounded, but with a coolness and energy that extend the finish. There’s a pleasing earthy reduction here that hints at good ageing potential. Drink 2025-2037.

Jasper Morris MW 90-93/100
This vineyard really suffered from the drought with fissures opening up, though still achieved 47 hl/ha. Lemon and lime colour. The nose shows some weight of fruit but is less expressive. Pears make up the dominant fruit. Not quite as elegant as some a little bit four square though with plenty of acidity from the hydric stress.
