Description

At 370 metres, this is the highest-altitude Premier Cru, and therefore one of the more elegant, energetic expressions of Pouilly-Fuissé. It was originally ruled out by the authorities for being too cool. The excellent 2020 will be a hit with purists: it’s crisp, precise and lean, with a taut profile and stinging acidity, and a saline, lime-driven finish.
