Description

Isabel Estate have been making wines since 1990. The team follow sustainable practices to maintain their 45 hectares of densely planted varieties. The 2020 vintage was a warm and ripe one for Marlborough, which has resulted in a beautifully balanced and complex Sauvignon Blanc. 10% of the vintage was aged in old French oak barrel, giving this wine a smooth texture and a delicate structure. The nose is absolutely singing, with notes of sweet passionfruit and ripe limes, while the palate is full of fresh citrus fruits and elderflower. This is a lively and easy drinking white wine with subtle notes of tropical flavours from this very specific and unique microclimate.
