Description

Les Vercots is the first Premier Cru you meet as you approach the head of the valley leading to Pernand-Vergelesses. A layer of deeper, colder clay here gives the wine an edge of solidity; Franck often reminds us that this wine should not be hurried. There’s a note a cassis this year, before the wine’s cooler reserve reappears. Drink 2025-2030.
