Description

This is a classic mix from four of the Barolo communes: Barolo itself and Castiglione Falletto, but with the large majority from the lower section of Brunate in La Marro and Prapò in Serralunga d’Alba. These all produced very high-quality fruit, which shows in the final product. The light touch of Ceretto’s winemaking gives this wine an almost silky feel, with an accent on red fruit, while the tannins are smoothly integrated.

The climate is continental, with an extended summer and autumn enabling the fickle Nebbiolo to achieve perfect ripeness.
