Description

Our St Emilion comes from a small property owned by the Vauthier family, one of the best names on the Right Bank. The 2019 is a bundle of vinous energy: the rich, cassis-laden bouquet soars from the glass. This is everything that St Emilion should be: plump, rounded Merlot, with a delicious, juicy freshness from the Cabernet Franc, which makes it deceptively easy to drink. Probably the best vintage we have ever bottled of this wine, there are no hard edges – and it’s ready to enjoy right away.
