Description
The estate’s flagship vineyard is well-known for being one of the best sites in the great village of Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Barolo production zone. The Nebbiolo produced from here has complexity, structural elegance and a distinctive herbal balsamic characteristic on the finish. Monprivato represents balance, elegance and composure.
Fabulously complex on the nose with notes of cherries, strawberries, balsam, black tea, undergrowth and spice. Amazing energy on the palate, linear and fine with notes of summer herbs, red berry fruit, chocolate and spice, beautifully integrated acidity and the finest of ripe tannins keep it all in balance and indicate great longevity. Long and elegant on the satisfying finish. A stunning Monprivato that will give pleasure for decades.
