Description

This is from the estate’s Barolo di Serralunga vineyards, with vines of up to 32 years of age. It’s generous, bright and immediately engaging, with charming red fruit and a rose petal lift. It has a delicately woven structure, with a fan of porcelain tannins and a touch of salinity. With beautiful balance and poise, this is accessible young but will also reward patience.

The Barolo appellation was formalised in 1966 at around 1,700 hectares, and has an exceptional terroir with almost every village perched on its own hill. The climate is continental, with an extended summer and autumn enabling the fickle Nebbiolo to achieve perfect ripeness.
