This beguilingly intense wine comes from the prime lower section of Rugiens, Pommard’s finest site. The wine is defined by its texture, itself driven by the rich clay and iron-laden soil. There is an intriguing top note of blood orange that leavens the brooding palate. Really fine, unmistakeable Pommard.
