Description

For Davide’s Serra, a combination of altitude, east-facing exposure and the vineyard’s position on steep, raw calcareous soils has resulted in a wine with incredible focus, finesse and power. The 2018 vintage gives this wine an uplifting, rose-tinted perfume, a joyful red-fruit tang and a herbal quality. Most importantly, this is a wine of its place. The Serra vineyard gives a raw framework of taut verticality, fine china tannins and energetic purity.

Serralunga d'Alba. Just mid ruby. A complex nose loaded with spicy savoury fruit and saline hints. Youthful and generous red-fruit palate with finely ground tannins that stick to the palate.
