Description

Deanston Distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands, was established in 1965 within a converted cotton mill dating to 1785. Renowned for its organic practices, the distillery focuses on producing high-quality single malts using traditional methods and local ingredients. Deanston is one of the few distilleries in Scotland to produce organic whisky, certified by the Organic Food Federation. The distillery is self-sufficient in electricity, generating power from the River Teith through a hydroelectric scheme.
