Description

This inaugural collaborative release celebrates one of the UK’s oldest independent bottlers and one of its newest. It’s mind-boggling to comprehend that this delicious single-cask whisky from Islay began its ageing process before Berry Bros. & Rudd – or indeed any drinks company – had an online presence.

Age has been kind, marrying soft gingerbread and spice with softly integrated peat. It is delightful straight out of the bottle, with elegance and finesse. A drop of water enhances the subtlety and brings out apricot, salinity and huge complexity.
