It’s an exciting time in the UK and at Berry Bros & Rudd, with an influx of super-luxury tequila coming online. 

Richly enjoyed by my discerning wine-drinking colleagues, the philosophy at Komos has been to marry innovative winemaking techniques and highly artisanal craftship of tequila production to create a beautifully balanced and easy-drinking ‘sippers’ tequila. 

Jasmine and citrus on the nose give way to grapefruit on the mid-palate and deliciously balanced tropical fruit with a steely minerality on the finish.

Mezcal, made from various agave species, mainly thrives in Oaxaca and is known for its unique smoky flavour. Both spirits hold cultural significance, and the rise of premium and craft varieties has spurred the growth of small-batch distilleries.
