Description

Old Pulteney was established in 1826 and produces whiskies that reflect their coastal heritage to the extent known as “Maritime Malt”. Based in Wick, sea air has a marked effect on maturation processes here, which occur in traditional dunnage warehouses. The Pineau des Charentes Cask Finish was matured in casks that once held this sweet fortified French wine. The result is a sweet, rich single malt, bursting with dried fruit flavours and subtle saltiness.
