Description

At first the nose on the Teeling 18yo Calvados Cask makes you do a double take. It could be Calvados with baked apples, cinnamon and a glistening hint of sweet herbs dominating. However, the palate tells you this is firmly whisky.

Golden raisins and wood spice mingle with a finish of apple pie, maple syrup and a gentle piquant of pink peppercorns. There is a deep intensity in this dram yet a pleasing freshness and fruitiness, a multi-layered experience.
