Description

After nearly a decade in ex-Bourbon wood, this splendid Glenmorangie then spent four years in casks that had been used repeatedly in the production of Cognac.

Truly golden in colour, the nose is delectably spicy with exotic oak and dried citrus peels. Impeccably judged oak influence on the palate truly weaves subtly liquorice and hints of tobacco through the sweetly fruity spirit. A pleasure to drink, The mouth-filling finish offers further evidence of the master distiller’s skill with endlessly interchanging interplay of nuts and fruits. I’ll be sharing mine with friends after a simple steak-frites.
