Description

Whenever I drink this whisky, I hugely enjoy the interplay between sweet fruity spirit and dry spice provided by the casks. Treacle toffee notes are glimpsed between sultanas, apricot and fresh, English orchard fruits. The texture is soft, and the hints of baking spice make the finish delightfully moreish. This is an excellent opening whisky for the evening. Alternatively, a wonderful lunchtime highball can be made with this.
