Description

An experienced master blender such as Drew Mayville always loves to keep their secrets, but it is clear there are some very special casks in this impeccable assemblage. Sticky, baked plantain and orange zest waft through the nose, over a base of vanilla custard and gently charred wood. That exceptional oak is the star of the show on the palate with the assured hand of Mayville ensuring sweet rye spice plays a superb supporting role. Exceptional length on the finish nods to the superannuation of the component whiskeys here. A glorious addition to the pantheon of great whiskey made by Drew over his decades-long career.
